The Leadership Lens: Through the Camera
Each student will choose a movie that demonstrates some aspect of leadership. Spend an evening watching the movie with a focus on analyzing the leadership themes, theories, situations, etc. in the film. In addition, you will present your paper in class in small group assignments. Late papers will not be accepted
Length: 3 pages (not including title or reference page)
Format:
typed, double spaced with 1 inch margins
• Times New Roman, with font size no larger than 12
• include a cover page (this is not counted for the length of the paper)
• Writing assignments are important to getting a good grade for the course.
Papers will be marked Outstanding, Average or Below Average and receive between 40 to 100% of the points available for the assignment. If you do not submit a paper on time, you will get a “0” for the assignment.
• Carefully proofread your assignments before submitting. Effective writing is one of the most important competencies you require to be successful in the business world. Misspelled words and improper grammar will cost you points on your written assignments. Do not rely solely on Microsoft Word spelling and grammar checker. All writing assignments are to be submitted in hard copy.
• All assignments must be submitted on or before the day they are due. Late assignments will receive an a reduction in grade submitted later than two days from the due date will NOT be accepted.
