This speech outline is about Toyota Motor, one of the largest companies in the world, which was included in the Fortune 500 list in 2017. It is also the world’s largest manufacturer of automobiles. The company tops the world’s market in sales of all types of vehicles including hybrid electric cars. Toyota Motor was established on the 28th of August 1937 in Japan (Laudonand Laudon75). Over the years, it has continued to evolve in terms of positive progress. It made some of the most remarkable innovations and inventions such as the mass-production of hybrid cars. Toyota Motor has hundreds of millions of vehicles all over the world. It is well known globally for it production of popular brands of cars such as Lexus, Hino, Toyota, among others.

- Toyota Motor is headed by a president, a representative director and a board of directors.
- The company has a set of guiding principles, a vision and a philosophy that encourages every employee to be efficiently productive in their line of duty.
- The company has several head offices in the U.S and Japan, but its main headquarters location is in Japan.
- Its main business is the production and sale of motor vehicles.
- Toyota motor is known to be worth billions of dollars as per the latest statistics for the year 2016.
- Toyota motor is a very dynamic company when it comes to the issue of employment. It has employed over three hundred thousand employees.

- The company appreciates the aspect of diversity in all places of work.
- The company encourages the employees to tolerate with each other.
- In so doing, they reap the benefits of finding common ground in their diversity.

- Toyota motor has had groundbreaking victories regarding profits and revenues in sales of its products.
- It has earned sixteen million dollars regarding profits in the last fiscal year, 2016.
- Consequently, over two hundred million dollars have been generated by Toyota motor in the form of revenue.
- The company contributes a considerable percentage towards economic growth.
Challenges
- Despite the victories, the company experiences some tough challenges.
- The primary challenge is the environmental regulations as a result of the growing consciousness to environmental protection.
- Global Acts such as the Air Pollution Control Act, Clean Air Act of 1970, have seen to it that emissions from vehicles remain under three percent (Lee, Ahn andPark).
- These laws force vehicle manufacturers such as Toyota motor to undergo extra cost when coming up with new models for cars (Karan 50).
- There are also instances where the company’s innovations have failed, leading to massive losses in financial resources, time, materials and energy.
- Toyota Motor has come up with ways in which they can deal with the issue of emissions.
- This was a long and comprehensive combination of ideas from different departments from within the company (Yoshida and Kojima 48).
Conclusion
Summing my speech up, Toyota motor has maintained high-quality standards with its customers globally. It has implemented a very effective quality assurance system. The system is built on the principles, vision and the philosophy of the company’s founder, Kiichiro Toyoda (Cowan 724). In addition, Toyota Motor is one of the few enterprises in the world that show appreciation for diversity. It has encouraged teamwork in the running of all corporate activities, and this has greatly contributed to its ability to manufacture increasingly better cars. By coming up with ways to reduce emissions from the vehicles they produce, Toyota Motor is demonstrating cooperation with theenvironmental law enforcement requirements being established across the world.
