Instructions: For this week’s assignment you will select a company from the list below. Throughout the next 8 weeks you will continue to research this one company on all future assignments. This is part 1 of an 8 part final portfolio!

For your first assignment we will focus on the leadership/management of your selected company.
Use the APUS Online Library (or another academically credible website i.e. company webpage, NRF.org, etc) to research a relevant article discussing your chosen company’s leaders or managers.
Write a minimum of 2-3 pages (not including cover page or reference page) answering the following questions:
1. Discuss some qualities that make up a leader.
2. How do leaders differ from managers?
3. Identify your researched leader from your selected company, what is this person’s position within the company?
4. Is this person a leader, a manager, or both? If they are both, what makes them both?
5. What are some traits a leader needs for handling Conflict Management?
6. Does the leader from your selected company have these traits? Explain.

– Your paper should be written in an academic essay format.
– Do not write in First Person.
– Reference your week 1 readings and your researched articles.
– Follow APA format with in-text citations and full text reference.
– Must include a cover page and a reference page.
