On the view suggested here linguistic meaning is analyzed as truth-conditions. This is the kind of view of meaning Frege and Russell defend. Discuss various problems this type of view faces. In other words, give examples suggesting that truth-conditions cannot be specified for all types of sentences and contexts, at least not in any straightforward way. You can also address the issue whether on this view the order of analyzing meaning and thought is the right one, whether this view captures all aspects of linguistic meaning as the expression is understood by the ordinary speaker.
