This week I want to do something a little different. I want all of you to take an ice cube and place it in a cup….watch what happens to that cube as time passes…then when it completely melts set it into the freezer…come back in a couple hours and look at the shape of the cube. What is the same? What is different? What happened and how? Now discuss the similarities between the ice cube and the change process.Think of an organizational change you have experienced. Was there resistance to the change? Discuss. What could have been done to prevent or diminish the resistance?
