Select a mid-sized organization. Interview the organizations’ HR staff (or a Manager or Administrative staff performing recruitment and selection functions) to collect information about its recruitment and selection policies and system.
Using information from the interview and supported by information from Catano, Chapters 2; Prepare a typed, double spaced, 2000 word paper responding to the following:
1. Determine if the organization’s selection system process is scientific or intuitive using the following criteria:
1.1 Describe the recruitment and selection method/process used; and, the type of process.
1.2. Why is the selected method used?
1.3. Describe the validity and reliability of the selection method.
1.4. Describe the potential advantages and disadvantages of the process (describe three advantages and three disadvantages)?
