Dance as a form of art and/ recreation serves a variety of purposes. One of those purposes is to heighten the appeal of a service or product. During the course of the semester, you are to identify one instance of the use of dance in a TV commercial. You may talk about the type of dance being used, the performer or performers, how it is used and how it makes the product more appealing to you. This paper should be a minimum of four pages. In addition, it should be:
- Typed in a legible 12-point font
- Double-spaced lines
- Adhere to all rules of style as outlined in a style manual by Strunk and White or Turabian, etc.
- Clearly structured sentences and paragraphs
- Clear use of transition
- Quotations must be appropriately cited using MLA style; a minimum of four sources are expected and should be appropriately credited in your works cited/bibliography page at the end of your paper
- The paper must be stapled at the time you turn it in; a cover page is NOT NECESSARY
- NO ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED; NO EARLY SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED
The paper must be received at the beginning of class, 11am, AS A HARD COPY, Tuesday, October 6, 2015. If it is not turned in by this time, the writing will not accepted.
